The residence halls will close on Friday December 18th at 7:00 pm for the conclusion of the fall semester. Those students needing winter break housing accommodations need to apply for break housing using the application found
HERE. The break residence halls will be Beall, Centennial Court C, Engleman, Koonce, Korb, Leebrick and Wright. Students currently living in a break residence hall who apply for break housing will be assigned to their current room; students living in another residence hall on campus will be assigned to a vacant room in one of the break halls.
Applying for break housing
WILL NOT guarantee a break housing assignment. Assignments will be made based on vacant space available in the break residence halls in addition to application date and greatest need (i.e. graduate and non-traditional, out of state students, etc.). Where available, vacant converted student lounges may be used for break housing assignments.
The cost of break housing is $25 per night for all assignments. You must check out by noon on the day following your last contracted night or you will be charged for an additional day. Due to the extreme space limitations, if you contract for a night and no longer need it, but do not cancel or modify your contract before that date – you will still be charged for the night’s usage as we have denied another student’s stay.
The winter break housing application can be found
HERE. All applications must be returned to the Department of Residence Services, Korb Hall Reception Desk by Tuesday, December 1st at 5:00 pm.
