Pathways-Wellness Community is a theme community located in Fletcher Hall. The Pathways-Wellness program is for students who are focused on living a wellness lifestyle.
Goals of the Pathways-Wellness Community:
- To help students effectively manage the transition from high school to college
- To offer programs and resources for students that will assist them in succeeding in college
- To create a community of students which live a healthy wellness lifestyle.
The Pathways-Wellness program is an extraordinary theme community focusing on the development of the total student, a holistic approach to the college experience. This program is designed for students who value living a healthy lifestyle. Students benefit from participating in the Pathways-Wellness Community because its role in helping students build a small, connected community focused on wellness among participating students. Pathways students engage in a variety of special activities that build a strong foundation for academic success, a healthy lifestyle, and a rewarding career.
Students have the opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle through participation in an initial health assessment and an ongoing fitness and wellness program, as well as available healthy dining options. Finally, students are offered numerous opportunities for co-curricular and social involvement, including activities like group dinners, study tables, and fitness activities. The Pathways-Wellness Community provides students with a firm foundation for achieving success in college and life.
To become a part of the Pathways-Wellness Community, simply request to be placed in Fletcher Hall in the Living-Learning section (Section 7) on your residence hall application or housing renewal contract.
