The Web Development Office is responsible for meeting the software and web development needs of the Department of Residence Services. Many of the applications are web-based and provide students and staff with easy exchange of services and information. The development team consists of five part-time student employees operating under the supervision of one full-time Systems Analyst Programmer.

The Web Development Office strives to stay abreast of latest technology and thereby enhance students' on-campus experience and keep Residence Services at the forefront. Apart from supporting and maintaining the Residence Services website, the Web Development Office is also responsible for successfully transforming procedures such as Housing Application, Contract Renewal, Room Change, Rapid Track, etc. into web-based electronic systems (from their previous paper-based model). Applications are maintained through upgrades and technical support provided to both students and staff.
