Computer Labs:
Kent State University has several on campus computer labs that are open for public use. To view a list of the labs, their locations, hours, and printing charges, visit the lab website at

They are located in Verder Hall, Manchester Hall, Tri Towers, Twin Towers, Korb Hall, and Allerton. The Tri Towers lab is open 24 hours for your computing convenience! Check out their website at

Printing:
In order to print on-campus, you’ll need to use your Flashcard. Printing typically costs $.07 per page. You can add money to your Flashcard for printing by going to the Flashcard Office in the Student Center, by using a DART machine (they are located in the library, Student Center, and the business building), or "Manage Your Account" online at

Tech Spot:
The Tech Spot, Kent State University's computer repair service, is open to assist faculty, staff and students with the technical needs of their personally-owned computers. ResNet:
ResNet is Kent State's wired residential network which provides students living in the residence halls access to Kent State's computing resources and the Internet. ResNet’s residential network is available to all students living within the campus residence halls, including the Allerton and Engleman apartments. To access ResNet, your computer must meet certain hardware and software requirements, detailed on ResNet’s website at

ResNet will provide services to you if you are unable to go to any websites, you are getting a “Network cable unplugged” error in Windows XP when you are correctly plugged in with an Ethernet cable, you are getting a “Limited or No Connectivity” error in Windows XP when you are correctly plugged in with an Ethernet cable, or you are unable to successfully log in to Cisco Clean Access with correct ID and password.
ResNet provides limited technical support with computer startup or hardware issues, software installation (you must have licensed CDs, and hardware replacement and installation issues).
ResNet is not able to assist with printers, monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, or MP3 players.
